The Dual XDV8125 is a great unit for those who want an affordable, feature-rich CD player with an easy to read screen that has expandability options to control a complete A/V system easily and effectively.
The unit can playback standard CDs and it has a built-in TV tuner, but the options begin once you factor in the 2 sets of complete audio/video auxiliary inputs, 3 pairs of preamp audio outputs, and 1 video output. With the inputs you can connect a gaming console such as a PlayStation 3 or XBOX 360, as well as a remote-mount DVD player. With the 2nd auxiliary input you can easily connect a portable MP3 player such as an iPod, Zune or other MP3 player.
Additionally, the XDV8125 is great for those who want to connect multiple amplifiers to power their speakers and subs. It provides connections for front, rear and subwoofer controls allowing you to fine-tune your system for sound optimization.
